Shakespeare “Speed Dating“
Welcome to Round Two of Shakespeare “Speed Dating”!
Come read scenes, meet people, and appreciate the language of the Bard! (it’s not actual speed dating)
We’ll be meeting in Shelby Park at the rock circle (by the basketball courts on Jackson St) to start at 7pm. Please, get there before start time and make sure to give yourself time to park as it is all street parking.
There’s nothing you need to prep, this is all just for the love of reading scenes with your pals! However, for nervous cold readers, we will send out the scene cuttings for optional perusal before the date.
We’ve prepared a bunch of two-person scenes, and you’ll get a chance to rotate around to read with a bunch of different people!
The plan is to sit on blankets or the big rocks in the rock circle so if that doesn’t sound comfy to you, feel free to bring a chair with you. We will also have snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and bug spray for participants. The event is free but we would appreciate a $5 donation to three witches shakespeare. See you there!
